Public Consultation on 5G Open

Do you see value in telling government and big industry politely that you’d like them to stop grinding their heels in your face and stomping on your head? Then this may be for you!

The Department for Digital, Culture, Media & Sport wants to give mobile operators more rights to dismantle planning requirements, particularly in rural areas.

The idea is to remove obstacles that may in any way impede telecom companies plans to bathe Britain in 5G radiation. (Though the consultation referred to in this post covers only England.)

The consultation is designed to appear fair whilst locking citizens into a tacit contract to accept a loss of existing long-standing environmental protections.

You know as well as I do what notice the UK government takes of any consultation when there’s a potential face-off between citizens and industry.

The whitewash closes on  04 November 2019.
