As a big music fan, I can say the UK music scene was always incredibly important for all of Europe and the rest of the World. Many electronic genres such as Drum & Bass, Dubstep, House, Garage, Dub, and many more are born somewhere in the UK. All the young people always appreciated the music scene on the Island, and they were, and they are still so passionate about creating new music and setting the big new trend in the music industry. The Covid 19 Pandemic hit like a bullet train all the clubs, promoters, DJs, and producers.

Everybody involved with creating music or a safe environment to dance was highly disturbed and unable to work. The UK music fans did not have many options of going out, and even the house gathering was restricted by how many people could be in one place. And let’s not forget the UK exit from the EU even before the start of the Pandemic. It was uncertain what would happen with all the DJs, producers, and promoters, and people visiting the UK for a weekend just to enjoy their favourite club. The Brexit deal gives the UK government the option to decide if they want to reopen everything once again and lift the restrictions. And they did. And vinyl is the fresh blood to the industry lately.

People are buying now more than ever. There is some EP’s that you can buy only from somebody else who is selling because it’s completely sold out. It is a nice feeling that you own something unique, something with soul and so much beauty. The feeling when you play it on the gramophone and the noise when the needle touches the records, just before the music start playing. I have goosebumps. And if you love the music as I do, you will have to!

It’s just so beautiful that gramophones & vinyl would live another life. And all the people connected with them in emotional music-way would too. From the beginning, it was all about the records. All about just listening to music in your garage for example. Now, the Garage is rising again, which made me listen to old garage records, vinyl’s only from early 2000. Insane stuff. How important Is the Gramophone & Vinyl’s for the music itself

The gramophone was always the fundamental device. It creates a sound that puts your imagination in another place. This is what the good records are doing to me to and to all music fans. So, for us, it is important that the gramophone, like a device, comes back to life and looks as good as ever. Few models are taking my thumbs up Audio Technica, Pioneer, and Reloop. The price range is between £274.99 and £600. You can always find them cheaper in like FB groups or just internet where people are selling, some of them are in really good conditions.

Let’s talk about records stores

The holy place for every music fan. Not only for people involved with electronic music, for all music lovers. It was before, and it is now. I will tell you few places that you need to check if you are around.

In the capital of beautiful Bulgaria, there are two very good records stores. Micro, which is a club too, and Taba Record Store, where you can even order almost anything you can imagine.

In Berlin, probably the most legendary records store in Berlin. I visited it three years ago, and it was great. I was kinds of shy, as very big names were searching for some dirty beats.

What are We Really Talking About

In 2020 the vinyl records surpassed CD sales. And with the tempo, it is going, and when I see pre-release EPs already sold out before even being released yet, I know vinyl is going the right way.
